New Sabre™ Series Lasers for GLOCK Pistols! These have not been released from the factory yet 30 to 40 more days
Rochester, NY (February 1, 2008) LaserMax is proud to present its Sabre™ lasers for polymer frame pistols. The Sabre™ series is a new concept: a laser in an ergonomic whale tail at the rear of the pistol frame. The Sabre™ lasers are compatible with most holsters.
Two Sabre™ models will be released initially. LaserMax model LMS-SA-GF will fit the GLOCK models G17, G17L, G18, G22, G24, G31, G34, G35 and G37. Model LMS-SA-GC will fit GLOCK models G19, G23, G32 and G38. Sabre™ lasers will soon be available for other GLOCK models.
All Sabre™ lasers have a sleek, contoured design that feels good in the hand. A beaver tail at the back of the pistol stabilizes the shooter's hand hold against recoil. The same beaver tail houses two 357 batteries which can be changed out without affecting alignment. A master switch at the back of the slide allows the user to select off, continuous-on or Hi-Vis pulsating for fastest visual acquisition. With the master switch set to either continuous-on or Hi-Vis, the operator simply grips the gun as he or she normally would and the laser activates. Removing the hand deactivates the laser. (Beam will not light with Master switch set to off.) The laser is positioned low and back on the frame so that the shooter's hand is not gouged when racking the slide. Laser can be adjusted for windage and elevation with a tool that is included in the package. The Sabre™ design is covered by U.S. Patent #6,591,536 and other patents pending.
